Meet the Artists

Amanda
Since I was a child I always knew I could draw & was somewhat artistic but it wasn't until one night in 2007 that I went to to a painting party with a friend that I fell in love with art. I realized that night that I could bring my two-dimensional drawings to life with acrylics. I have since taken several classes with a local artist to further develop the craft and have painted more than 70 pieces of art.

I have found art to be a relaxing & peaceful way to spend the afternoon & highly encourage anyone, even those who don't think they can draw a stick figure, to give it a try. You'd be surprised at what you really CAN do.

Amanda is my mom. I went to a few painting parties in the 6th grade & ever since then, I have really enjoyed painting. I learned a lot when I took a few art classes with a professional artist. I like drawing, writing, reading, photography, and, of course, painting.

If you don't think you are good at art, keep in mind that Monet, Pissarro, Sisly, Millit, Jundt, Leonardo da Vinci, me, my mom, and every painter in the world didn't become artists overnight. We ALL had to practice. I was horrible at it in the beginning. I once tried to draw & paint a woman & instead I made a female cyclopes.
